Operation Arrow - New trial scheme September 2000

A joint Home Office and Metropolitan Police trial

We are very pleased to be part of the recent joint project between Operation Arrow and Islington Council, who have piloted a new project aimed at combating youth related vehicle crime. Our Sold Secure approved Retractable Ground Anchor has been installed in two motorcycle / scooter parking bays within the Borough of Islington, London. These anchors will allow motorcyclists to secure their vehicles to an immovable point in the parking bay and so reducing the opportunity of motorcycle thefts, these and any future bays will be provided for public use free of charge. We sincerely hope that this project as a whole is successful and maybe adopted by other Boroughs in London and indeed other areas within the country.
