Sold Secure are a non-profit making company which were sent up some years ago by the Police with the help and backing of the Home Office, It is administered by the Master Locksmiths Association
They provide test and assessment of effective security products to commercial customers, the Home Office, the Police and of course the public
Sold Secure have three security grades/categories.

BRONZE - Products

Offering theft resistance against the basic tool list (aimed at preventing opportunist crime)

SILVER - Products

Offering theft resistance against enhanced tool list (aimed at preventing more determined attacks)

GOLD - Products - Highest Approval

Offering theft resistance against the full tool list (aimed at preventing dedicated attacks)
A Sold Secure approved product has successfully withstood twelve different attack methods of five minutes each before being awarded its certificate
The average thief will give up after two and a half minutes because of risk of discovery
We currently have eighteen products within our security range which have acheived Sold Secure approval.

We were the very first company to gain a Gold approval on a mechanical motorcycle ground anchor (Gara Bike Clamp MK1) way back in 1996,

To date we are the only company that have approved garage door security these include the Garage Defender ( red ) Garage Defender Master ( Green ), Garablock MK 5 and now include the only Sold Secure approved GOLD Garage door security device in the country in fact in the world, the Guard - A - Garage acheived approval in June this year.

We also have a range of Gold approved caravan, trailer related products, Swing N hitch lock, Chain Anchor and the Defiance wheel clamp.

These products have been designed to eliminate the ever increasing theft of caravans, trailers, motorhomes, mobile catering trailers, horse boxes etc.
